Product Ruling PR 2013/3 sets out the Commissioner's view on the income tax consequences for the defined class of entities, referred to as investors, who invest in a Westpac Annuity Deposit.

Westpac Banking Corporation advised that the Westpac Annuity Deposit will change its name to the Westpac Retirement Deposit, and that the Product Disclosure Statement to the Westpac Annuity Deposit will be withdrawn.

PR 2013/3 continues to apply to investors who invested in a Westpac Annuity Deposit prior to the withdrawal.

PR 2013/3 is replaced by Product Ruling PR 2013/23 which issued on 18 December 2013 and sets out the Commissioner's view on the income tax consequences for an investor in a Westpac Retirement Deposit.
