Income tax: Film Investment - 'The Complete History of Cricket - From Dawn to Stumps'

The Product Ruling relates to the production of a documentary film which has a budgeted cost of $6,047,360. Under the proposed arrangement capital contributions equal to the production budget were to be raised on or before 30 June 2003.

The production budget was not achieved by 30 June 2003. There were no Investor contributions accepted and the production of the documentary film did not commence. Therefore the Ruling has no application to any Investors and is consequently withdrawn.
